Questions

What happens if MailQuell is slow or down?

The address is accepted. The plugin waits at most the time you set (4 seconds by default) and never blocks a form because of a problem on our side, including an empty credit balance.

How many credits does it use?

One credit per new address. Results are cached for 30 days by default, so a customer who orders again does not cost a second credit. Addresses and domains on your allowlist are never checked.

Which addresses are refused?

By default: addresses that do not exist, disposable (temporary) inboxes and disabled mailboxes. You can also refuse role addresses such as info@, catch-all domains and other risky addresses.

Does it work with the WooCommerce block checkout?

Yes. It checks the billing email on both the classic checkout and the block checkout, and on "My account" registration. It is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage.

What data is sent to MailQuell?

Only the email address typed in the form, with your API key. No names, orders or other form fields. No email is sent to the address.
